Monday 1st - Friday 5th July 2019
- 4 Nights Dinner, Bed & Breakfast
- Cathedral City of St. Davids
Day 1: Following your home collection, we make a relaxed departure to the Park Hotel Tenby.
Day 2: Today our first stop is to Llys-Fran, a 350-acre country park set in the Pembrokeshire countryside. The focus of the park is its reservoir and the 100-foothigh dam which sends water crashing down into the River Syfynwy. We continue to St. David’s, Britain’s smallest cathedral city. St. David, the patron saint of Wales, lived here in the 4th-century. On our return, we pause at Carew Castle, set in a stunning location overlooking a 23-acre millpond.
Day 3: This morning we visit the market town of Carmarthen, it lies on the River Towy 8 miles north of its estuary in Carmarthen Bay. Carmarthen has a strong claim to be the oldest town in Wales. We continue to the pretty harbour village of Saundersfoot via Laugharne, the home of Dylan Thomas and Pendine with its 7 miles of sandy beaches.
Day 4: Day at leisure.
Day 5: We depart for Norfolk, where our door to door service will be waiting to return you home
