Day 4: We head to Rye with its quaint charm of the 18th century cobbled streets and breathtaking views of Romney Marsh. On our return to the hotel, we pause in Hastings, home to the largest beach-launched fishing fleet in Europe and the remains of the first castle in England to be built by William the Conqueror.
