Every February, visitors become immersed in a celebration of vibrant colours, culture and magnificent plant life inside the tropical paradise of Kew Gardens’ Princess of Wales Conservatory. Each year, Kew brings a new theme to this magnificent festival.
Stepping into the Princess of Wales Conservatory, visitors find themselves transported to an entrancing paradise evoking the sights, smells and sounds of a chosen theme (in 2019 the theme was Columbia). The experience is an immersive journey through the different zones of the glasshouse where visitors were able to encounter staggeringly beautiful displays representing aspects of wildlife and culture. Over 6,200 orchids feature in the festival.
The theme for 2020 is yet to be set, but rest assured it will be a magnificent celebration of the Orchid.
