Day 1: From a convenient local joining point, we make our way to the Hilton Hotel Bracknell, for a 3 night stay on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.
Day 2: Our first stop today is in delightful Richmond-upon-Thames with the chance to explore, relax by the river or on Richmond Green – London’s largest town centre open space, or browse the shops and obtain a drink and bite to eat. Later, we continue to Hampton Court where we include entry to the Palace and Gardens. Acquired by Henry VIII in 1520, a succession of Royal occupants has made sure the Palace has a superb collection of furnishings and art. The formal 60-acre gardens include the famous Maze.
Day 3: A short drive this morning takes us just along the road to the splendid Royal Horticultural Society Garden at Wisley. The garden here is a place full of inspiration, Wisley offers ideas galore, with Wild Garden, Glasshouse, Model Gardens, Fruit Field, Arboretum and spectacular floral displays. After seeing the garden, you can obtain a drink and bite to eat at the café (not included). From Here we move on to Hatchlands Park, near Guildford. This is a perfect area to explore and nestled in the parkland is a Georgian country house built for a naval hero, Admiral Boscawen.
Day 4: After breakfast we head into Royal Windsor for a morning at leisure. We will depart at 14:00 and make our return to Norfolk.
