Cornwall is a land of dramatic rocky cliff sides, sandy beaches, hidden harbours, delightful fishing villages, and lush countryside all coming together to make one of the most popular holiday destinations in the UK. We explore the wonderful coastline, visit sites made famous by Poldark and Doc Martin and take in the Eden Project. Our base at the Rosemundy House Hotel is a favourite with Eastons customers and the area is filmed as Poldark’s Nampara Valley
Day 1: Following your home taxi collection we make our way to the Rosemundy House hotel in St. Agnes for our 4 night stay. We will enjoy a sherry reception before dinner.
Day 2: This morning we visit Penzance, located on the shores of Mount’s Bay. We then head to St Ives, where you can wander the maze of cobbled streets with their quaint stone cottages, explore the harbour or maybe pay a visit to the Tate Gallery.
Day 3: Following breakfast we enjoy an excursion to Mevagissey. Narrow streets and steep valley sides lead down to the centre of the old Mevagissey where the distinctive twin harbour provides a safe haven for the many fishing boats that land their daily catch. In typical picture postcard style, cafes and shops cluster around the harbour walls. We then head back to Truro for an afternoon at leisure.
Day 4: A full day at the Eden Project – home to the largest indoor rainforest in the world. The huge biomes create tropical and Mediterranean environments and house thousands of unusual plants from all over the world. Visitors to the Eden Project can see banana trees, giant bamboo, grape vines, rubber plants, waterfalls, steamy jungles, giant sculptures, a treetop lookout and much more. Whilst here we also include a 1 hour guided tour.
Day 5: After breakfast, we make the return journey to Norfolk, where our door to door service will be waiting to return you home.
Festive programme subject to change.
