The sheer physical beauty of North Wales is second to none, and we sample its delights on our spectacular train journeys, taking in the rich landscapes from brooding mountains to sparkling lakes. Just sit back, relax and take in the scenery.
Day 1: Following your home taxi collection, we continue our journey to North Wales making suitable stops en-route. Our 4 night stay is on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.
Day 2: We board the Welsh Highland railway at Caernarfon for a scenic journey to Porthmadog. After some leisure time here, we board our train for a journey on the Ffestiniog Railway and travel through some spectacular countryside on our journey to Blaenau Ffestiniog. We make a brief stop in Betwys-Y-Coed on our return to the hotel.
Day 3: The highlight of our holiday is a trip on the Snowdon Mountain Railway, Britain’s only Rack and Pinion Railway up the highest Mountain in England and Wales. The 2 hour round trip climbs through the atmospheric landscape of Snowdon. (This excursion is subject to weather conditions, therefore in adverse weather alternative arrangements will be made).
Day 4: Today we join the Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway for a steam-hauled journey through the valley to Abergynolwyn. We re-join our coach to visit coastal town of Barmouth before returning to our hotel, passing Harlech Castle on the way.
Day 5: After a leisurely breakfast we depart for Norfolk, where our door to door service will be waiting to transfer you to your home.
