Located in East Sussex on the South East coast of England, Eastbourne holidays are popular with a wide range of tourists eager to discover its stunning 4.1km seafront and promenade, vibrant arts scene and sweeping South Downs countryside. It’s also within easy reach of Beachy Head cliff and lighthouse for some fabulous photography opportunities.
A combination of smooth sands and shingle beach flank an excellent mix of shops and eateries, making a holiday to Eastbourne appealing for all ages. One of the great thing about Eastbourne is that everything is in close proximity to the seafront, including the town centre – making many of the key attractions readily accessible.
Day 1: From your local joining point we make our way south to Eastbourne for our 4 night stay at the Oban Hotel.
Day 2: We drive along Beachy Head, through the Cuckmere valley to the Royal Pavilion Brighton, for an included visit. After which, there will be time to explore Brighton at leisure. On the return to our hotel, we pay a visit to the pretty village of Alfriston, nestled in the Cruckmere valley, with St Andrews Church ‘the Cathedral of the South Downs’ well worth a visit.
Day 3: Day at leisure to explore. One of the great things about Eastbourne is that everything is in close proximity to the seafront, including the town centre – making many of the key attractions readily accessible.
Day 4: This morning we visit the medieval town of Rye, the cobbled streets and narrow passages reveal architectural treasures among beautifully preserved Medieval, Tudor and Georgian buildings. Following our visit, we continue to Hastings a medieval Cinque Ports. Hastings has long had a close relationship with the ocean, and although it’s fishing industry has declined, it still has Europe’s largest beach-launched fishing fleet.
Day 5: After breakfast, we make our way back to Norfolk and your chosen joining point.

Situated on Eastbourne’s promenade with wonderful views of the sea. All the en-suite bedrooms have TV, telephone and hospitality tray. (There are a few steps to the main hotel entrance). The hotel has a lift.
