Our new Welsh holiday tour unearths the secrets of Pembrokeshire as we travel across coast and country to visit some of the area’s most famous sites. We include entry into enchanting Picton Castle, free time in Tenby and a visit to St David’s. Our hotel, the renowned 3 star Cliff Hotel in Gwbert, Cardigan boasts one of the most breath-taking views and marine locations in Wales, overlooking Cardigan Bay, the rugged coastline, the Teifi Estuary and the broad sweep of Poppit Sands.

Day 1: Following your home taxi collection we make our way to Gwbert and the Cliff Hotel, for our four-night stay on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.

Day 2: We begin our day with a visit to St David’s. Surrounded by some of the finest coastline in Europe, St Davids is the smallest cathedral city in Britain, and is a popular location for pilgrims and artists alike. Adjacent to its 12th century cathedral stands the magnificent ruins of the medieval Bishop’s Palace. This afternoon we enjoy a visit to enchanting Picton Castle, near Haverfordwest, which is a half fortified manor house and half medieval castle, set in 40 acres of stunning gardens.

Day 3: Todays excursion takes us through the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park to Tenby, one of the UK’s finest coastal holiday resorts, which has retained its natural charm, narrow streets, harbour and beautiful beaches. Tenby is steeped in ancient history and surrounded by an imposing medieval stone wall. We continue to the picturesque seaside village of Saundersfoot, with its historic harbour.

Day 4: Today we visit the lovely market town of Cardigan, with its unspoilt townscape and rich heritage, before continuing through the picturesque Teifi Valley to the National Wool Museum. Here, we enjoy an informative guided tour and let the story of wool, once the most important industry in Wales, weave its magic in this unique working museum..

Day 5: After breakfast sadly, we must leave to begin our homeward journey, where our door to door service will be waiting to return you home.
