Day 1: Following your home collection we make our way south-west to the outskirts of Chepstow and our hotel.
Day 2: We pass the abbey ruins of Tintern Abbey en-route to Monmouth, famous for its 13th Century Monnow Bridge. This afternoon we board our boat for a cruise on the River Wye. We stop in Chepstow for some free time in this ancient walled border town and ancient port before our return to the hotel.
Day 3: We join the Brecon Mountain Railway along the full length of the Taff Fechan Reservoir to Dol-y-Gaer – one of the most popular railways in Wales. There is a short stop at Pontsticill to admire the views and visit the café before our return journey. After our train journey, we pay a visit to the charming market town of Brecon, as well as its Georgian architecture, the town of Brecon, has a fine cathedral with a shop, restaurant and heritage centre
Day 4: This morning we meet our guide for an informative tour onboard our coach, after which we include a boat tour around the redeveloped Cardiff Bay. Late afternoon we visit the Royal Mint Experience to go behind the scenes and see the process that puts the pounds and pennies into our pockets.
Day 5: After breakfast, we depart for Norfolk making suitable stops en route. Upon arrival our door to door service will be waiting to return you home.
