A new twist on an Eastons favourite as we explore Cheshire and the surrounding areas. On this tour we combine visits to Port Sunlight and Bodnant Gardens, as well as Chester, Llandudno and a cruise on the Shropshire Union Canal.

Day 1: Following your home taxi collection we make our way to Chester, arriving late afternoon at the The Queens hotel for our 4 night stay on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.

Day 2: This morning we travel to Ellesmere Port and the National Waterways Museum, where tea/ coffee and biscuits will be served on our arrival. During our visit we will enjoy a 30 minute cruise on the Shropshire Union Canal with commentary, and a guided tour of the museum. The museum occupies part of a 200-year-old historic dock, originally designed by Thomas Telford and is one of the largest and most complete dock complexes in the UK.

This afternoon we head to the historic and idyllic garden village of Port Sunlight, which was built in the late 19th century by Lord Lever as a home for his soap factory workers. Today, it is home to a museum, parks and a world-class art gallery, all off which you will have time to discover.

Day 3: Today is at leisure to explore the historic city of Chester. When visiting this majestic city, take a step back in time and walk down the cobbled streets to discover the famous black and white ‘rows’ in the city centre. The half-timbered buildings now house some of Chester’s most beautiful stores, boutiques and restaurants. Take time to discover Chester’s Roman heritage and walk the two-mile ring of Roman walls made from local red sandstone. Only a short walk away, is the picturesque River Dee, with a charming riverbank known as the ‘Groves’ which is complete with a promenade, bandstand and boat rides

Day 4: Today begins with a drive along the North Wales Coast to Llandudno, one of the best known seaside resorts. Here you can take a stroll along the wide promenade or explore the town centre.   This afternoon we head of along the Vale of Conwy to visit the National Trust’s Bodnant Garden, an incredible vision of the McLaren family first created over 150 years ago. Nestled in the Snowdonian foothills, this world-famous garden is home to National Collections and Champion Trees and boasts sweeping lawns, grand terraces and verdant woodland.

Day 5: Sadly, this morning we depart our hotel and head back to Norfolk making suitable stops en route. Upon arrival our door to door taxi service will be waiting to take you home.
