Day 1: Following your home taxi collection, we make our way to the Marriott Royal County Hotel in Durham for our four-night stay.

Board one of the trams, horse-drawn carts or trains and visit the 1900s traditional sweet shop, explore the 1940s wartime farm, disappear down into the 1900s mine at the pit village or go ‘behind the scenes’ and see some of the fascinating items in the collections of Beamish.
