Day 1: Following your home taxi collection we make our way to Newquay for our 4 night stay at the Esplanade Hotel.
Day 2: This morning we take a leisurely journey south west to Land’s End. Take a stroll along the family-friendly paths above cliffs carved out by the Atlantic Ocean, or maybe visit the ‘End to End’ exhibition which tells the stories of some of those who made the 838 mile journey to or from John o’Groats. (exhibition subject to individual choice and payment) We then travel to St Ives, one of Cornwall’s most popular seaside destinations. There’s free time to lose yourself in the maze of narrow, cobbled streets and alleyways, and spend time down by the harbour beach. Don’t miss the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden where work by the country’s leading 20th century artists is exhibited in tranquil gardens.
Day 3: Time to really relax with a free day in Newquay. One of the nation’s favourite seaside resorts, stunning Newquay is an idyllic destination to enjoy a coastal retreat. Relax in one of the delightful beachside eateries or take in the surf and spray of Fistral Beach – known as a surfer’s paradise, this is the perfect place to watch the world go by. If you’re looking to explore more, browse the charming independent shops or take a stroll along the coastal path and enjoy spectacular views out to sea.
Day 4: Today we travel up the Atlantic coast to Boscastle, a picturesque natural harbour and village, mostly owned by the National Trust. The Elizabethan quay sits in an impressive amphitheatre of steep cliffs and is home to quaint stone-built cottages, shops and tea-rooms. Next we reach Tintagel, a place inextricably linked with the legend of King Arthur. You might like to go to the visitor centre, King Arthur’s Halls or the castle itself (entry not included). We then continue along the coast where we call into Port Issac, seen in recently released feature film ‘Fisherman’s Friends’ and possibly more recognisable as the TV setting for Doc Martin. Our final port of call is the pretty fishing town of Padstow, a delightful little port, nestling on the beautiful Camel Estuary, with a picturesque harbour surrounded by pastel washed Medieval houses
Day 5: Following your leisurely breakfast we make our way back to Norfolk, making suitable stops en route. Upon arrival our taxi service will be waiting to take you home.
