Canterbury Christmas Markets & Leeds Castle Light Trail

Day 1: Joining from one of our convenient local joining points we make our way to Kent and the four star Bridgewood Manor Hotel & Spa on a dinner bed and breakfast basis

Day 2: After breakfast we visit the historic city of Canterbury where we have free time at leisure to browse the Christmas Markets. Traders line the streets of Whitefriars, St Georges Street and Rose Lanes, displaying festive food, drinks, and crafts. Festively dressed entertainers are on hand to add to the atmosphere. This afternoon we visit Leeds Castle to experience the Castle dressed in its festive finest. There will be trees dripping in iridescent ornaments and extravagant décor covering the roaring fireplaces. Glide through the doors and experience all the glamour and Christmas spirit of a luxurious country home. There will be time to find out about the Castle’s 900-year history - from being a Norman stronghold through 300 years of Royal ownership to then becoming Henry VIII’s resplendent Tudor Palace. As darkness descends, a spectacular light trail lights up the night sky in the grounds of the castle. Discover sparkling chandeliers delicately suspended in the trees, a laser garden filled with tiny beams of light, a path of twinkling mirrored hearts and the Feast of Light - immersive glowing strings filled with all the colours of the rainbow. Indulge in a seasonal snack or drink from hand-picked street food vendors along the way.

Day 3: This morning we depart our hotel and head to Greenwich for some free time, before re-joining our coach and making our way back to Norfolk and your chosen local joining point.
