A returning favourite for Eastons customers with three contrasting days out. A visit to scenic Conwy Valley and Llangollen, a day of leisure in historic Chester itself and a day out to the seaside in North Wales.

Our base for this tour is the fabulous four star Queesn Hotels, which is located just a short walk from the centre of Chester and is one of the oldest hotels in the UK, having originally been built to serve the train station in 1860. Marvel at the vaulted ceilings, spectacular staircases and regal public areas of this stately building.

Day 1: Following your home taxi collection we make our way to Chester, arriving late afternoon at the The Queens hotel for our 4 night stay on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.

Day 2: This morning we travel past Ruthin and Corwen into the Dee Valley, making a stop in Llangollen. Maybe take a stroll along the Victoria Promenade, browse the wealth of independent shops, walk through Riverside Park or watch the river tumble down beneath the bridge. We enjoy some free time before taking the short drive to Froncysyllte to join a canal cruise on a brightly coloured narrowboat. Here, you will sail across the Pontcysllte Aqueduct, or 'Stream in the Sky', through the beautiful Vale of Llangollen. An interesting commentary gives visitors an insight into the history of the area.

Day 3: Today is at leisure to explore the historic city of Chester. When visiting this majestic city, take a step back in time and walk down the cobbled streets to discover the famous black and white ‘rows’ in the city centre. The half-timbered buildings now house some of Chester’s most beautiful stores, boutiques and restaurants. Take time to discover Chester’s Roman heritage and walk the two-mile ring of Roman walls made from local red sandstone. Only a short walk away, is the picturesque River Dee, with a charming riverbank known as the ‘Groves’ which is complete with a promenade, bandstand and boat rides

Day 4: Today we enjoy a scenic drive along the North Wales coast to Llandudno. Set in a beautiful sweeping bay, Llandudno is enclosed by the headlands of the Great Orme and Little Orme, with 700 feet of sheer limestone that juts out into the sea. You can ascend to the top of the Great Orme in a cable car or Victorian Tramway and enjoy spectacular views across Anglesey and Snowdonia (cost not included). The tranquillity of Llandudno with its pleasant shopping centre and wide level promenade make it one of the most popular seaside resorts in Wales and a delight to explore. Later, we head over the river to historic Conwy, home to the impressive Castle overlooking the bay.

Day 5: Sadly this morning we depart our hotel and head back to Norfolk, making suitable stops on the way. Upon arrival our taxi service will be waiting to take you home.
