Day 1: Following your home taxi collection, you will join our luxury tour coach and head west to Barnstable and our hotel for the next 4 nights, the three star Royal & Fortescue Hotel on a dinner bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2: After a leisurely breakfast, we head to Quince Honey Farm, South Molton, to uncover the secret life of bees and the honey making process. Watch a beekeeping demo, enjoy a tour and tasting in the honey factory or explore the Nectar Garden and Seed Bar where you’ll find bee friendly seeds to take home to your own garden! In the afternoon we head on to RHS Rosemoor – an award-winning gem nestled in the Torridge Valley. This delightful garden blends formal and informal plantings to magical effect. Explore the rose gardens, the long borders and the exotic gardens. There are delights to be found in every season at this stunning garden. We take the scenic route home via Bideford and Barnstaple.
Day 3: This morning we make our first stop at Hestercombe House and Gardens. Explore the lakes, temples, cascades, woodland walks and formal terraces inspired by centuries of garden design spanning Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian eras. Perhaps enjoy refreshments in The Stables Restaurant and Caffè & Gelato before we head on to our afternoon visit – the West Somerset Railway. We board England’s longest heritage railway at Bishops Lydeard for the 20 mile ride to Minehead. Journey back in time on board an authentic heritage steam or vintage diesel train taking in the gently rolling Quantock Hills, (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), Exmoor, Dunster’s imposing castle and the coasts and cliffs of the Bristol Channel. We’ll have a short break in Minehead before we head back through Exmoor National Park to the hotel for the evening.

To top it off, a Devon Cream Tea is served on board while a live commentary from your skipper covers the history and wildlife as you sail. This afternoon we head along the coast to Sidmouth where you have free time to explore this sophisticated and charming seaside resort. Wander round the botanical gardens or explore the café’s and boutiques for the perfect souvenir of your trip to the West Country.
