Day 1: Following your home taxi collection we head into North Wales and to our hotel for our four night stay. On arrival, you will be greeted with tea & hot mince pies, whilst the porters take the luggage to your room. Dinner this evening will be a four-course meal followed by cabaret entertainment.
Day 2: Today is our ‘Christmas Day’ and following breakfast, we will enjoy a half day excursion into Snowdonia National Park. Covering a total of 823 square miles, Snowdonia is Wales’ largest National Park. Home to over 26,000 people, Eryri’s landscape is steeped with culture, history, and heritage, where the Welsh language is part of the day-to-day fabric of the area. Tourists visit Eryri every year to explore its towering peaks and breath-taking valleys, and find tranquillity in its lesser-trodden paths. We return to the hotel mid-afternoon and at 4pm will enjoy afternoon tea and Christmas Carols. Later we will enjoy Christmas dinner, a visit from Santa and evening entertainment.
Day 3: Today is our ‘Boxing Day’ and after a leisurely breakfast we will take a trip to Caernarfon, famous for its impressive castle built by Edward I and the investiture of the then Prince Charles in 1969, before returning to the hotel mid-afternoon. Later the ‘Fire and Ice’ evening begins, and the Ice Bar and amazing tasting menu add a touch of theatre. The fun continues with cash bingo, followed by entertainment.
Day 4: After breakfast, today offers free time to enjoy the delights of Llandudno. Set in a beautiful sweeping bay, Llandudno is enclosed by the headlands of the Great Orme and Little Orme, with 700 feet of sheer limestone that juts out into the sea. You can ascend to the top of the Great Orme in a cable car or Victorian Tramway and enjoy spectacular views across Anglesey and Snowdonia (cost not included). The tranquillity of Llandudno with its pleasant shopping centre and wide level promenade make it one of the most popular seaside resorts in Wales and a delight to explore. At 4 pm afternoon tea will be served in the hotel followed by a haggis rolling competition. We will launch the ‘New Year’ at 6.15 with a fabulous Celebration Dinner and an evening of entertainment which will include cash bingo and an optional fancy dress parade. The evening will end at 11 pm with a rousing chorus of Auld Land Syne and a finger buffet.
Day 5: We depart for Norfolk, where our door to door service will be waiting to return you home.
