This afternoon we head to Bridport, a lively and vibrant market town with a rich, rope-making heritage. It also has a tremendous reputation for arts, culture, events and food. The town is a hive of activity with an eclectic mix of independent shops, cafes and restaurants that give the town a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. The town has boomed in popularity in recent years due to it being featured in the popular television drama 'Broadchurch'.
Day 3: Day taken at your leisure. The town itself nestles beneath the majestic red cliffs of Peak and Salcombe Hill and the green hills of the glorious Sid Valley, located on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Renowned for its gardens and famed for its wealth of fine architecture, the picturesque town centre offers an excellent range of individual shops and is a delight to browse.
Day 4: Today we travel to Exeter. A small city that packs a big punch, Exeter is one of the most vibrant, attractive and historically interesting cities in England.
