Day 1: Following your home taxi collection we make our way to the south coast to board the ferry to the Isle of Wight. Upon arrival, we make the short journey to the Trouville Hotel in Sandown, for our four night stay on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.
Day 2: Today we are joined by a professional guide for a coach tour around the island. Littered with picturesque villages, bustling towns and historic delights, your guide will provide you with an insight into the rich historical heritage of the island. Free time at leisure will be provided throughout the day for coffee and lunch breaks.
Day 3: Today we make our way to Osborne House, the home of Queen Victoria. Queen Victoria spent a great deal of time at this wonderful home, and since her death little has been changed there, with many of the royal couple’s possessions, photographs and paintings still in place. Don’t miss the stunning gardens surrounding the property, they are a must-see!
Day 4: This morning we enjoy a cruise through Cowes Harbour, world famous for yachting, out into the Solent, with fantastic views of the island coastline, Osborne house and Norris castle. We then cruise on across the eastern Solent with views of the massive sea forts and into the Portsmouth Naval Base, home of the Royal Navy, past and present. On our return we have free time in Cowes before returning to our hotel.
Day 5: After breakfast we catch the ferry back to the South Coast, continuing to Norfolk with suitable stops en-route. Upon arrival, our door to door service will be waiting to take you home.
