Excursion Pickup Points Convenient locations across Norfolk For day excursions, Eastons picks up from easy scheduled points which are close to the route you will follow on the way to your destination. You will not spend hours touring the county before setting off, instead coaches make simple and quick stops into principal points.
Park and Ride
As usual we offer free parking at our depot in Stratton Strawless and we are also pleased to inform you that our agreement with Konectbus has been extended into late 2024 so we can continue to use Thickthorn Park & Ride.
IMPORTANT: We have no other agreements in place at our other joining points for free parking and we feel it is important to remind you that any parking arrangements other than our depot or Thickthorn will be your responsibility.
Which excursion picks up where?
All excursion coaches begin at our Stratton Strawless depot, where free parking is available, and will pickup at Hellesdon, Norwich City Centre and Thickthorn Park and Ride. Excursions heading southbound will serve Attleborough and Thetford and excursions heading Northbound will serve Dereham and Swaffham. Please note that on some local day excursions pickups at Attleborough, Thetford, Dereham and Swaffham will not be served. This will be indicated at the time of booking.
Day Excursions From Stratton Strawless Park and Ride from our coach depot in Stratton Strawless, conveniently located just off the A140 a few minutes from Aylsham, Horsford, Buxton and Hevingham. Ample free parking is available beside our office.
Address: The Old Coach House, Parish Road, Stratton Strawless, Norwich, NR10 5LRDirections from North Norfolk: From the Aylsham Roundabout, head South on the A140 signposted 'Norwich'. Continue approximately 3.5 miles and turn left into Parish Road, signposted on green signs. Take an immediate right and follow the track to the left to arrive at our depot.Directions from Norwich: From Norwich Airport, take the third exit at the A140/B1149 roundabout signposted Cromer and Aylsham. Continue through the village of Hainford, past the brick bus shelters and take the right hand turn into Parish Road using the turning late. Take an immediate right turn.

Day Excursions From Hellesdon Live in Hellesdon and fancy a great day out? We pick up on the Cromer Road outside Tesco Express, just a short walk from the Meadow Way, Bush Road and Hawthorne Avenue areas. Simply jump on board, sit back, and enjoy a day out with Eastons

Follow the road to the next junction, the bus shelter is on your right hand side directly outside Tesco ExpressDirections from North Norfolk: From the B1149/A140 Roundabout, take the exit heading towards Norwich (A140) and follow the road ahead past Norwich Airport. Cross the first junction in the left hand lane past Porcelanosa and continue in the left lane to the next set of traffic lights. The bus stop is just across this junction on the left hand side.
Day Excursions From Norwich We pick up right in the heart of Norwich City Centre on Castle Meadow, beneath the stunning Norwich Castle and outside the popular Castle Mall Shopping Centre. Simply wait outside The Mall entrance opposite British Heart Foundation and the coach will collect you from the coach layby.

There are loading bays on Bank Plain beside OPEN, which are a 5 mintue walk from our pickup point.By Public Transport: Many local bus services drop off in Castle Meadow at designated bays, head towards Red Lion Street to find our pickup point. Please note that some local bus service do not stop on Castle Meadow and use St Stephens Street and/or Norwich Bus Station. If you book a taxi, they will be able to drop you off right by the coach. We work with Courtesy Taxis (01603 446644) who will be happy to help you.
Day Excursions From Thickthorn Park and Ride We work with our friends at Konectbus to allow our customers to park safely and conveniently at the Thickthorn Park and Ride Site

Please Note: Our drivers are able to access the site when closed so you do not need to worry about your car being locked in overnight. You simply drive up to the automatic barrier and it will raise.
Where to find the site? Thickthorn is conveniently located on the Norwich Southern Bypass on the A47/A11 junction on the Norwich Road beside Thickthorn Services.
Parking On The Site: Parking on the site is free of charge for our customers who are travelling on our excursions. Please park at the lower end of the car park as the coach will collect from the lower shelter. You will need to display a permit which we will provide. Failure to display this permit may result in a fixed penalty notice issued by an external parking enforcement agency. Neither Eastons or Konectbus can be held responsible for any damage or thefts whilst using the sites or for any fixed penalty notices issued.
Day Excursions From Attleborough For those of you who live in Attleborough, you can join us in the town centre at the bus stop on Church Street. Simply jump on board, sit back, and enjoy a day out with Eastons. Please note, the car park is set to implement chargable parking - please make sure you account for this.

Day Excursions From Thetford We pick up in Thetford on London Road at the rear of the Chase pub (Hungry Horse). At the side of the Chase on Bury Road is a public car park which is currently free of charge.

Day Excursions From Dereham We pick up at Dereham Tesco Bus Shelter. We strongly recommend you are dropped off and collected here due to the car park having a 3 hour parking restriction. If you choose to park your car here, you do so at your own risk. A W Eastons Coaches cannot be held responsible for any fixed penalty notices issued by the supermarket's parking enforcement company.

Day Excursions From Swaffham We pick up at the Bus Shelter near the Market Place just off Lynn Road. Any parking arrangements in Swaffham are your responsibilty. A W Eastons Coaches do not have any agreements with any car parks in the area.
